About Solar2Energy

A £50 million fund, for the year commencing April 2010, has been created by the directors of Solar2Energy. This is for the express purpose of providing Local Authorities, District Councils, Schools and NHS Trusts with the opportunity of being considered for Solar PV installations in order to create a renewable energy source in line with their current targets. Simultaneously, wherever possible, to reduce utility billing costs and carbon emissions.

Solar2Energy’s primary focus is the public sector in the UK working with local authorities, district councils, schools and the NHS Trusts to support them in meeting their renewable energy targets and reducing carbon emissions. They provide the necessary hardware and ancillary equipment without the relevant authority having to invest in the capital expenditure.

Solar2Energy is an international company with offices in Barcelona, London, Cirencester. The directors of the company are experienced in the installation of Solar PV and energy management solutions.  The CEO, David Collett, was until recently CEO of Green CO2 plc (now Green Compliance plc), an Aim listed company which provided consultancy for the European Building Directive and the Carbon Reduction Commitment Programme for the public and commercial sector.  Daniel Cervero, Non Executive Director, has been responsible for installing 23 Megawatts of solar installations and notably involved with the largest roof top solar PV installation in Spain, the seventh largest in the world, and has worked with Local Authorities and corporate clients such as DHL.

Solar2Energy is a member of the 2050 Association, a collaborative network formed from a synergistic group of independent businesses delivering a range of renewable and sustainable energy solutions with a joint turnover in excess of £200M.  All our associates are on true green missions to deliver real carbon reducing solutions for both the private and public sectors, helping them to achieve their ambitious CO2 emission targets. Their combined goal is to help the UK become the world’s most environmentally friendly country.
